James Tyler, 76, of Mt. Shaw Road, Ossipee, NH passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, Dover, NH.

He was born February 23, 1941 in Lynn, MA where he had lived for many years until his retirement and moving to Exeter, NH and eventually Ossipee, NH.

He had a life- long career as a machinist at General Electric in Lynn, MA.  He enjoyed his motorcycle and spending time with his dog, Gringo.

James is survived by his wife Patricia (Toomey) Tyler, Ossipee, NH; his daughter Paulette E. Caton, Taunton, MA and his son James P. Tyler, Jr. of Norton, MA as well as several nieces and nephews from New York and many friends that were considered brothers.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of the Garrison Wing at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH.

There will be no calling hours.  Services will be private.
