I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Janet's family. There's such a sense of helplessness when someone we love dies. I'd like to share some scriptural thoughts that really helps me. Prayer is so valuable at this time but it's not that prayer simply makes us feel better. 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, "... power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but it means we recover. The reason we recover is because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection, this is our hope. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort (Ps. 83:18) be your comfort now during this time of sorrow.

I will never forget Janet. Caryn and I were best friends in high school and 37 Kelwyn Drive was my second home. I will always remember her sweet, kind, gentle nature. I've had the chance recently to reconnect with Janet and Marty as their Housekeeper. I'm so thankful I had the chance over these last months to be in touch with them and reminisce over old times. Janet will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will be your special angel now and will always watch over her beloved family. I pray that you will all take comfort in knowing that she is free from all sickness and health restrictions and that someday, you will all be reunited. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time of loss. 💓

Dear Marty and Family, I have trouble finding the words to express our sadness over Janet's passing. For over 20 years, we lived next door to each other, hearing the grandchildren playing in the pool, Janet ,Caryen, and Amy laughing. Marty manning the grille. The good old days.. We regret we can not come to the service due to our health issue. I hope Rick will keep updated. All our love, Wally and Lynn

Marty, Caryn & Amy, & family,
We are so very saddened by the loss of your darling wife, Mom, & Mimi. Janet and I graduated together and she was always the sweetest, kind and gentle girl. We became friends from the start. The loss of Janet will be very difficult for her family and friends as years pass. Know how much she's at peace in God's Loving arms and no longer in discomfort. She'll always be your beautiful angel watching over her family. RIP my sweet friend. You will be so missed.
