Todd, I fondly remember Madison Memorial Day parade, my grandfather and father marching passed a group gathered at Jesse's. I looked forward to the return march when I would stop and visit in the door yard. Linnie was always there, sweet and smiling and such pleasure. Condolences to you and your family.

Linnie led a full, selfless, and exemplary life....special, devoted, healthy, independent, great sense of humor, and unconditional love are words that come to mind. I feel incredibly grateful and blessed to have had her in my life as a neighbor and friend for over 60 years. Significant hours spent playing cards, (always with her fabulous fudge), blueberry picking, shooting star gazing, Old Home Week events, garden and front porch chats, overnights, baked bean dinners, fried clams and ice cream excursions, her love of Sunday church, Ben, her family.......just some of the memories always to be cherished. To all her family members, my deepest sympathy and gratitude for always being there and surrounding Linnie with the best support, care and love.....while creating years of treasured memories. Shine on dearest Linnie......in my heart forever.

Ed and family, I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My first teacher. I've thought of her often. I remember helping with the hot lunches, peeling potatoes when it was mashed potato day. I think I remember more of my first 4 years in school than any of the other years.

Sincerely

Ann
