I am so very sorry for your loss. The Bible makes this comforting promise: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted, he saves those crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) It also assures us: "Throw your burden on Jehovah, and he will sustain you." (Psalm 55:22) May these thoughts bring you a measure of comfort at this difficult time

To Ed, Emily and Johannah, I was your mother's supervisor during her years in Bow. She and I stayed friends for many years after she married Ed. I know how much she loved the expanse of the land and walking her dogs up there. She loved her girls so much. Although her last years were difficult ones for all of you, those years with staff and students were years when her light shone through. She loved working with the students and seeing them progress. May your memories all be wonderful. The picture you chose of Susan was perfect. That is just the way I want to remember her. Peace to all of you. Ronda Gregg

SuZ and I were good friends in our Hillside Jr, High School days in 1968 and 1969. She was such a smart girl and so sweet. I have not seen her since we graduated high school. I moved to California after school. I now reside in Belmont and I am taking care of my Mother. I wish I would have known that she was living so close. I am so happy to hear that she had such a wonderful life and family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I was SO shocked and saddened to hear of SuZ's passing. I knew her through the Woodland Heights Preschool program in Laconia NH as she was my son Ricky's Occupational Therapist for 2 years back in 2002-2004. She was an absolutely amazing lady and an amazing OT. She always had a smile on her face and a bubbly, happy personality. It was always a pleasure to see and to talk to her. She did wonders with not only my son, but all the other children as well. She was a breath of fresh air...I am so sorry for your loss and am sending thoughts and prayers to all of family and friends....what a devastating loss to all who knew her. Rest in the sweetest of peace, SuZ. You will be missed....

I am so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. I remember her joy and how happy she was to have found the love of her life! Her smile lit up a room. She was wonderful with the children in Bow! Emily, my heart goes out to you and your sister. I lost my mom too at a young age, it is a loss almost too great to bear.... love, Mary

SuZ , I am proud to say we were good friends. For many years we shared our lives as they unfolded. I will always remember our kayak trips down the rivers or across the lakes in New Hampshire. Laughing, taking in the sun and finding a good cup of coffee. I always looked forward to our annual treks to the Sunapee Craftsman show. We loved to admire the art and buy presents for our family. Ill always admire the love and care you gave to your family and your animals. So many times I would see you walking by my house (or 4 miles away) during a snowstorm walking your dogs! But Id give you a shout out and we would have a chat and a laugh. I will miss you my friend. Thank You for sharing your life with all those you touched so lovingly.
Your Friend Sue Hencke
