We are sorry that we weren't able to join you in celebrating Gay's life, but we are sending our love and sympathy to all of her family and friends. Our children were so lucky to have her as a teacher (and Anita as well). Her love and kindness have made a difference in so many lives. Her spirit will carry on in her beloved children and grandchildren and all of the nieces and nephews who have grown up in her extended family.

I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of Wanda Edmunds. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. When ever we lose such a caring and loving person, it is one of the hardest experiences that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Take comfort in knowing that God never intent for us to deal with sickness or death. But have assure in the wonderful promise that God holds out to us. He promise each of us that very soon he is going to reunite us back with all those loved ones we have lost. The twinkle in Gay's eye will always be with me. She was a GOLDEN friend who stood by her friends and family with such love and devotion. Our roots go deep and I will always smile when I think of her. But right now all I can do is ache at the loss of her here on Earth where her work was not completed and where she will be missed by her beautiful family and all of her friends.
