Andrew “Andy” J. Sawtelle, 65, of Center Ossipee, NH passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at Genesis, Wolfeboro Bay Rehabilitation, Wolfeboro, NH. 

He was born November 8, 1950 in Lowell, MA the son of Walter Phillips and Hazel Potter.  He had moved to Ossipee 21 years ago.

Andy had worked for Wakefield Disposal Service, the Town of Ossipee and Effingham, NH Solid Waste Departments.

Andy was predecease by his wives Geraldine Sawtelle and most recently Lynn Betts Sawtelle.

He is survived by his children James Sawtelle and his long-time companion Lisa Adjutant, Center Ossipee, NH; Andy Sawtelle, Lowell, MA; Christy Sawtelle Demers and her husband Israel, Hiram, ME; Elizabeth Sawtelle, Lowell, MA and Sarsha Betts, Peabody, MA.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren Faith Sawtelle, Hope Adjutant, Shelby, Sawtelle, Julia Sawtelle, James Sawtelle Jr., Jennifer Kloppenburg, April Sawtelle, Randy Sawtelle, Xavier Betts, Janet Betts, Logan Demers, and Samantha Lynn Demers, and 3 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his son Eric Sawtelle and his granddaughter Faith Sawtelle.

Andy loved his family and took great pride in them.  He will be greatly missed by all his family.

At his request there will be no calling hours.  Private interment will be held in MA.
