Donald H. Bye, 76, of Ossipee, New Hampshire died suddenly at his home on November 24th. He was born on March 30, 1937, in Beverly, Massachusetts. He is the son of the late Andrew and Ruth Bye. He graduated from Beverly High School and married his high school sweetheart, Virginia Stockton. Donald and Virginia moved to Wolfeboro in 1958 to raise their family. He worked for many years at Province Lake Country Club and Kingswood Golf Course, as well as Moose Mountain Ski Area before starting his own pesticide business. He attended the First Christian Church of Wolfeboro. He enjoyed traveling and had just returned from a family trip to Disney World with his children and grandchildren.

Donald leaves his wife of 56 years, Virginia Stockton Bye, his daughter, Diane Balser and her husband Dan of Brookfield, his daughter Darlene Towle and her husband Scott of Rochester and his daughter Dawn Amico and her husband Paul of Danvers, MA. He joins his son, David, in Heaven. He also leaves 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Donald leaves his brothers Richard and Warren Bye and his sisters, Marcia Price, Carolyn Woodard, Ruth Ann Brewer, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family are invited to visit from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, November 26th at Lord Funeral Home on Route 28 in Wolfeboro. A Service to Celebrate his Life will be held on Wednesday November 27th at the First Christian Church on North Main Street in Wolfeboro at 11a.m.
