Rena O. MacMartin, a resident of New Braunfels, Texas passed away April 7, 2016 at the age of 90 years.  Rena was born December 11, 1925 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire to Joseph Warren White and Rena Violet Bowering.  She was the third daughter of eight children.  She graduated from the Wolfeboro schools and Brewster Academy in 1943.  Rena married Frank F. MacMartin in 1945, who was a Veteran of World War II and preceded her in death in 2003.

Rena retired from Onteora Central School District, and in 1987 moved to Lake Wales, Florida with her husband where she lived for 18 years.  In March 2005 she moved to Texas to be near her daughter and family.

Rena is survived by her brother Fredrick White of Washington, and sister Martha Jane Baxter of Idaho.  She also leaves behind her daughter Helen C. Austin, son-in-law Todd A. Austin, two granddaughters Christina Clark and Olivia Brody, and a great grandson. Known as a sweet and gentle lady by all who knew her; she was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.

Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Wolfeboro, NH, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00am.
