Richard Edgerly Corson, 78, of Allen Road, Wolfeboro, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH, after a long illness.

He was born on October 2, 1934 in Wolfeboro, the son of the late Guy and Zaida (Kimball) Corson.  He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Richard had served in the US Army National Guard.  He was also employed by Irving Robert and Arnold Lord before being the sole proprietor of Dick Corson Plumbing, Heating and Electric for 41 years.

He enjoyed his family, baking, camping, work and playing cards with his friends.  He also had his perfection of careers published in the National Geographic.

Richard was predeceased by his beautiful wife of 43 years on June 5, 2013.

He leaves behind three daughters, Susan Corson-Mooers and Elaine Godbout both of Manchester, NH and Brenda Whitten of Melvin Village, NH, four sons Joe Corson, Belmont, NH; Louis Breton, Laconia, NH; Lucian Breton, South Paris, Maine and Donald Breton, Shirley, MA as well as 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  He also leaves behind his sister Jeanne Hamlin, Wolfeboro, NH and his cat Holly.  Richard was also predeceased by his daughter Cindy Sue Corson as well his sisters, Janet Berry, Rebecca Lord and Eleanor Willand and his brothers Charles Corson and Guy Corson all of Wolfeboro, NH.

Calling hours for Richard and his late wife, Jeannette, will be Friday, July 12, 2013 from 6-8pm at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, NH.  Funeral services for both Richard and Jeannette will be Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:00am at the First Christian Church, North Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH.  Both Richard and Jeannette will be buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Wolfeboro, NH.
