Message from Adam and Mary Spencer

We knew Bob was ill but the last time we spoke in the winter he said he was doing better. We just found out today that he passed away, and we had to contact his family to tell you all how terribly sorry we are. We knew Bob because he so kindly gave us scraps of old wood from his jobs that we used on our old home. We also tried to help him with some information about some of his 'finds' and sell some things for him on our website. We both liked Bob so much and are just as sorry and sad as we can be. We're happy to have known him and we think of him just looking at pieces of old wood in our house that he gave us. We're grateful for his many kindnesses and that we got to know him over a few years.
We are so truly sorry for your loss.

i met bob and his partner in crime billy v. when they were freshmen at kingswood back in 1978. over the years bob would stop by to see what antique treasures i had for sale and he would always have some project he was working on to show and tell me about. he was a good man and will be missed by his family and friends. kelly take care.
