Robert J. Bushman, 54 of Ossipee, New Hampshire went to heaven peacefully at home on Friday, May 26, 2017.

The loving son of the late Olivia A. Ridnour-Welsh of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Richard J. “Dickie” Bushman of Center Ossipee, NH.

Robert was born February 17, 1963 in Wolfeboro, NH and raised in Tuftonboro, NH.  He attended Tuftonboro Central School, Kingswood Regional High School and Danvers Technical School for Sheet metal fabrication.  Robert was a very hardworking man, who loved restoring old home and refurbishing old barn boards from the houses he tore down making beautiful furniture.  Robert was the type of man who would take something nobody wanted and make it into a beautiful piece of art.  He was a very kind and generous man with a funny personality.

He is survived by his loving wife Kelley McBride-Bushman of Ossipee, NH, his stepdaughter Jessica McBride, Parsonsfield, ME, his son Brenton Bushman-Sloane and his wife Kelly Fallon-Sloane of Dover, NH, and his daughters Whitney Bushman, Ossipee, NH, Haley Bushman, Austin, TX, Hannah Bushman, Ossipee, NH and his grandchildren Isaac Bushey, Mylah Bushey, Aiden McMahon, Evaline Bushey and Caleb Bushey.  He is also survived by his sister Ivena Varney and her husband Fenton Varney Jr. of Melvin Village, NH, his brother Thomas Bushman and his wife Sandy Bushman of Tuftonboro, NH and his sister Alison Samario and her husband Saul Samario of Albuquerque, NM.  He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, stepmother Lois Bushman and a lot of good friends.  He was predeceased by his stepfather Edward L. Welsh.

His heart will always be with Jeff Gibbs and Tinker Lewis.

There will be no calling hours.  Funeral services will be Sunday June 4, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at the Agape Ministries, Rt. 16, West Ossipee, NH.
