I think of Ivan as much today as 2013 and before, the tools he left for living always being useful, as much today as yesterday and tomorrow. I particularly enjoyed meeting for coffee during Ivan's later years, and think of him and of Dagne too.

Dear Dagny:  was mentally thanking Ivan for the wonderful things he taught during his YES classes I & II tonight when I felt he had passed on.  So I googled his name and was saddened to see the search engine showed "Ivan Burnell Obituary."  I'm sending you my condolences and want to let you know I truly enjoyed knowing you and Ivan in Lewistown, MT all those many years ago.  I thank you both for the wonderful classes you taught.  Still do the affirmation and use so many of the tools.  Thank you, Dagny, and may Ivan rest in peace.

I talked to Ivan once on the telephone in about 1-2000   recently I remembered him so I searched online to see what he was up to   I saw this website and I was sad to learn he passed   the world will miss a man so helpful and of such great intelligence.

Dear Dagny and the Burnell Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Ivan, whom I would not have known if it wasn't for wonderful Nick Burnell his brother who was gone too soon. I was in one of Ivan's YES courses with Tom when we were separated; Nick was the best man at my wedding to Tom Courteau and I will never forget Nick; and now Ivan. My deepest condolences to all of you. Sincerely, Karen Breault (DHS class of '68) formerly of Dover, NH.

Uncle Ivan was a great communicator from a very early age.  According to my grandmother, Ivan could easily translate my father's two-year-old gibberish in order to help her undertand what his little brother wanted. Dolly claimed they had their own special language too!
My love and condolences...Charlene

Karen and I are deeply saddened by the loss of Ivan. He was always so cheerful and up beat even when he was not at all on his A game. His presence at Carroll Lodge will be missed by all.
God's speed Ivan
God bless his family
